After you have made your decision on which Texas electricity company you want and clicked "Submit," your request will be sent to that company, and they will process your order within one to three business days. You will also be shown the order status, the date and time of your order and the Web site address that you can login to in order to track your orders.

You can always visit the "My Orders" section of your account to check the status of your order and view the Terms of Service and Your Rights as a Customer disclosures.

If you switched providers, the actual switch of providers will occur at the next regularly scheduled meter read date. Your old provider will continue to send you a bill until the service switch has been completed.
